Founded in 1827, St Patrick’s Church was built to serve Liverpool’s growing Catholic community in the south of the city. Funded by the Society of St Patrick and designed by architect John Slater, it quickly became a spiritual and community hub for local families.

Together, St Patrick’s and Our Lady of Mount Carmel represent over 200 years of faith, worship and service, continuing to play an important role in the life of the local community.
