History – Conscience Alley for Guy Fawkes

In history, Year 2 are learning about Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot. We have been researching what life was like living in England during the rule of King James I, and finding out about Guy Fawkes’ life. Today, ‘Guy Fawkes’ took a stroll down Conscience Alley; one side gave their best arguments for Guy to go through with the plot to blow up Parliament, and the other side tried to persuade him not to do it. Year 2 used all their historical knowledge and empathy to think of some excellent persuasive arguments! Well done!
