Mapping skills
Reception are developing their use and understanding of maps. They followed a route we planned together and are starting to orientate their map based on key features such as buildings and fences. We learned the OS map symbol for a tree and went on a tree hunt, drawing on each tree we passed along the way. See our tweet for photos!
